What an amazing tribute to our ‘Baygi ‘ dear sister. The kitchen was her palace n she kindly allowed us to learn as we
grew up. Memories of cooking together at Diwali with you, as mum stepped aside due to her illness, was sad as well as joyful. Memories of trying to get her recipes out of her in her last few years are full of funny conversations and heart wrenching conversations where she would apologise for ‘maybe I gave you the wrong measurements’. A mother that remained generous, caring, humorous and went above her pain n remained always present in our life’s. She is smiling in heaven for this gift of everlasting memory.
